Artist's Description
The notion of metamorphosis refers to a major change of form or structure during development. One of the most dramatic forms of metamorphosis is the change from the immature insect into the adult form. For the realization of my idea for this abstract illustration of a metamorphosis, I used organic structures embedded into a luminous, bright environment. The painterly quality and the translucent color scheme, an outstanding feature of my abstract digital work, was achieved through intense artistical editing with
Adobe Photoshop.
